Ready, Go!
This is the newest beginning and ending to Pocket Monsters in Japan. Aratanaru Chikai is the fourth opening to the series (a cheater, it was used only during a special), Ready, Go! is the fifth opening, and Pockettaari Monstaari is the 12th ending. O_O; That's a lotta endings. Anyway, this is good, good, GOOD music. This was the first CD to be released in 2002!

Hitoribocchi Ja Nai
This is the ending theme to the new Pokemon movie. It's pretty wild, very much like the song Gunya Gunya Gasu Gasu from an earlier CD. Sounds like a hoedown, and I love it! The new Mezasei Pokemon Master remix is OK, but not as good as the Whiteberry version from last year, which I really liked ^_^

4. Mezasei Pokemon Master 2002 (karaoke)

Ano Oka Wo Mezashite
This was released on the same day as the one above. This one's the theme for the mini movie, if I'm not mistaken, and has the same hoedown-ish quality as Hitoribocchi Ja Nai ^_^ I really like it. The single remix sounds pretty much the same as the original version, but there's different words. Very nice tracks, yes.
1. Ano Oka Wo Mezashite (Aim for the Hill)
2. Ano Oka Wo Mezashite (single remix)
3. Ano Oka Wo Mezashite (karaoke)

Mizu no Miyako no Mamorigami
It wouldn't be right if they didn't release a Pokemon movie every year, and what's a Pokemon movie without a soundtrack? So this is the fifth movie, the mini movie and main feature are combined on this CD. It's not bad... again, mostly background, but it has some nice moments. Densetsu is a very beautiful track, my favorite background track. The vocals aren't too bad, Secret Garden is kinda eh, but it's in English, so it gets points for that ^_^ As I said before, I'm wild for Hitorobochi Ja Nai. Pocketaari Monsutaari also grew on me, it is a very lovely track ^_^ So... this is a very good CD overall. Er, please don't trust my translations, they're very rough on this CD ^_^;
